Abstract

PURPOSE:To easily obtain a diffraction grating having high flexibility with high productivity by using a synthetic resin film as a substrate on which a replica diffraction grating is formed. CONSTITUTION:The replica diffraction grating 6 is produced by the stage consisting in forming a metallic film 3 on the surface of the diffraction grating 1 to serve as a master, packing the synthetic resin 4 thereon, disposing the synthetic resin film 5 further thereon, curing the packed synthetic resin 4 and removing the same from the master diffraction grating 1. The synthetic resin film 5 having the flexibility is used as the substrate in such a manner and the replica diffraction grating 6 is formed thereon and, therefore, the flexibility is extremely high. Since the synthetic resin 5 is used, the production with the high productivity is enabled.
