Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the hardenability and extrudability of the titled material by specifying Mg, Si, Cr, Zr, Al, Cu, Mn, etc. CONSTITUTION:Said aluminum alloy extrusion material is formed with, by weight, 0.8-1.2% Mg, 0.4-0.8% Si, 0.02-0.1% Cr, 0.02-0.1% Zr and the balance Al, or furthermore with <=0.1% Cu and/or <=0.2% Mn and moreover with one or more kinds selected among <=0.1% Ti, B and V. The above-mentioned extrusion material has excellent hardenability and extrudability and high welding strength and satisfies lightness in weight and strength.
