Abstract

PURPOSE:To attain proper current limiting function against a load by monolithically forming a power switch and a current limiting means, and housing the integrated member into a housing formed by injection molding, thereby facilitating the setting and resetting of the current limiting means. CONSTITUTION:This device is equipped with an ejection-molded housing 1, a power switch PS for a load, and a current limiting means which has e.g. a cover 2 retained by the housing 1 at its rotating folcrum, and a tubular fuse holding member 3, and is constructed such that a current is supplied to the load through a fuse 4 when the cover 2 is closed. Namely, when the cover 2 is opened, the current supply to the switch PS is shut off, while when the switch is operated, the current is supplid, and the over-current is supplied thereto, the current is shut off. In case after the cover 2 is opened to, for example, replace the fuse 4, the current is supplied thereto. It is thus possible to operate the switch to supply the current in responce to the load.
