Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve the transmission quality of a digital radio line and to reduce the operation cost by adopting the titled system such that a reception level is detected at the reception side, a control signal is sent to the sender side by a return line, the transmission output of an opposite transmitter is controlled so as to bring the reception level to be a level capable of reproducing the FM carrier. CONSTITUTION:A reception level detector (Det) 14 of a reception side 10 detects a reception level of a receiver (RX) 11 to send a control signal C to a sender side 20 by using a transmitter 15 and a receiver 23 through a return line. The control signal C received by the receiver 23 activates the transmission power controller (Con) 24 at the sender side 20 to control the transmission power of the transmitter (TX) 21 of the main signal. The reception input level of the receiver (RX) 11 already reaches a level corresponding to the D/U ratio at which an FM carrier reproduction section (FMIC) 12 can reproduce the FM wave by the control loop. Thus, even when the reception input level lin the receiver (RX) 11 is fluctuated due to fading or the like, the FM carrier reproduction section (FMIC) 12 reproduces the FM wave at all times to suppress the FM interruption wave thereby solving the problem.
