Abstract
PURPOSE:To deodorize garbage by furnishing an ozone generating device at the lid to a container, turning on and off an ozone generating device at certain intervals in linkage with shutting of the lid, and thereby generating ozone. CONSTITUTION:Shutting of a lid 3 turns on a lid switch, out of illustration, to actuate a controller 10, which sets a timer and operates an ozone generator 9. Thus the ozone generator 9 is turned on and off at intervals set on the timer, and ozone is generated within an external container 1. Thus garbage therein is sterilized and deodorized, and the air deodorized makes natural convection through a suction pipe 11 and exhaust pipe 12. This constitution enables deodorization and sterilization by ozone, wherein ozone is utilized effectively.
