Abstract

PURPOSE:To utilize inert gas again in a storage device for finely crushed coal etc., by collecting inert gas which has been used in transportation to a reserver, followed by compression and storage, and by supplying it to the finely crushed coal at the time of next transportation. CONSTITUTION:A transport vehicle 1 is connected to a receiving pipe 2, and inert gas is sent in through a supply valve 10, and combustible powder is transported to a reserver 3. In this reserver 3 the inert gas is separated, sucked and compressed by a compressor 7 via a filter 6, and stored in an inert gas tank 8. After the powder is exhausted by an exhaust unit 5, the inert gas is supplied into the reserver 3 by a supply valve 11, and thus the oxygen concentration in the gas in the space is controlled constant. This provides effective utilization of inert gas.
