DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION The present invention relates to an improvement in a dewatering device in a belt press. Conventionally, in a belt press, a pair of upper and lower endless cloths is freely runnable between a large number of parallel rolls, and the dehydrated material such as sludge supplied between the cloths is naturally dehydrated by gravity, and then transferred to the subsequent stage. Pressurized dewatering is carried out using a large number of installed rolls. In other words, the dewatering zones are broadly divided into
Simply place the dehydrated material on a cloth and let gravity take over.
It is divided into a gravity dehydration zone where the moisture is separated and a zone where the dehydrated product from which as much moisture as possible is separated is dehydrated by strong pressure using rolls or the like.

This invention relates to an improvement of the dewatering device in the above-mentioned gravity dewatering zone. This invention will be explained below based on the drawings. As shown in the drawings, the structure consists of a large number of arranged rolls that can run freely. In a belt press in which a cloth is wrapped around the belt press, the gravity dewatering zone A is placed facing the cloth 1 passing through it, and its lower edge 2' is in the direction of movement of the cloth 1.
Scraper 2 tilted to be located on the rear side
It has been established. In the illustrated example, the gravity dehydration zone A is composed of a dehydrated material supply section and a horizontal section turned back from this supply section, and the scraper 2 is installed in a hopper 3 for supplying the dehydrated material. There is. To explain this scraper 2 in detail, as shown in FIGS. 2 and 3, both ends of the scraper 2 are fixed to left and right side plates 4, 4, and are arranged. A mounting bracket 5 is provided and is attached to the hopper 3 so as to be adjustable up and down. Reference numeral 6 indicates an elongated hole for adjusting the scraper 2, and the blade edge of the scraper 2 is made to come into contact with the cloth 1 at an appropriate pressure and angle.
The angle of contact with the cloth is 3 degrees in the illustrated example, but it has been confirmed that it is effective from 0 to 15 degrees depending on the concentration of dehydrated material. In addition, code 7,
8 is a trough for receiving separated water in the gravity dewatering zone, and 9 is a dehydrated product supply pipe.

This invention is constructed as described above, and the dehydrated material supplied from the supply pipe 9 to the hopper 3 is transferred from the gravity dehydration zone A to the pressure zone C by the rolls on the left side of the figure as the cloth 1 advances. The water is dehydrated while being conveyed, and in the peeling rolls 10 and 10 portion at the left end,
It becomes a cake and is discharged outside the machine. That is, the cloth 1 is used as a material for dehydration, but in this invention, in the gravity dehydration zone,
A scraper 2 is provided facing the cloth surface, and since the scraper 2 is inclined backward with respect to the direction of movement of the cloth 1, the retention time of the dehydrated material is extended and the progress of the cloth 1 is increased. As time passes, the oversurface is renewed by the edge of the scraper 2, and the dehydrated material overflowing from the upper surface of the scraper 2 falls onto the renewed oversurface. That is, since the dehydrated material is reversed and falls onto the cloth immediately after being recycled by the scraper 2, efficient dehydration can be achieved. In addition, if the scraper 2 is provided in the zone where the dehydrated material has fluidity (inside the hopper 3) as shown in the figure, the scraper 2 will not clog the mesh of the cloth 1, making it even more effective. be.

Conventionally, when a belt press is used to dewater sludge, etc., the moisture content of the final cake is largely influenced by how the water is removed in the gravity dewatering zone, where it is easy to remove water, but according to this invention, Conventionally, by supplying dehydrated material, the surface of the fabric in the gravity dewatering zone, which was easily clogged and had poor dewatering efficiency, is continuously regenerated, and a new surface is always used to drain the cloth, resulting in efficient dewatering. This is possible, and the performance of conventional belt presses of this type can be significantly improved.
