Abstract
PURPOSE:To make the outer diameter of an endoscope fine and to reduce the paint to a patient, by mounting a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) measuring antenna coil to a tube main body constituting a medical tube. CONSTITUTION:A stay tube 1 is constituted of a flexible hollow tube main body 2, a leading end part 3 formed into a taper shape for facilitating insertion, a detachment preventing flap 4 and an NMR measuring antenna coil 6 and, for example, the antenna coil 6 is constituted of four saddle-shaped coils 7. An examinee 18 is placed in the static magnetic field generated by an NMR apparatus 17 and the stay tube 1 is inserted in the examinee 18 to be stayed therein. High frequency is sent out to the coil 7 in a desired direction from a high frequency generator 14 by an antenna selecting apparatus 11 to output a high frequency magnetic field to the examinee 18 and the NMR signal from the examinee 18 is received by the coil 7 to be measured by an NMR signal detection circuit 13. The high frequency is successively changed to other coils 7 and, for example, the cancer of the examinee 18 around the stay tube 1 can be detected. Since the antenna coil 6 is provided in the stay tube 1, the outer diameter of an endoscope can be reduced.
