Abstract
PURPOSE:To cope with a burst signal without preparing a signal other than transmitted data by a method wherein a signal for driving a light emitting device is inputted and integrated and the output of a control means is changed over in accordance with whether the integral exceeds a certain level or not. CONSTITUTION:If a burst signal is given to the base of a transistor Q2, the signal is inputted to an integrating circuit composed of a resistor R4 and a capacitor C1 and the terminal voltage of the capacitor C1 is elevated. If the voltage of the capacitor C1 exceeds a certain value Vre, the positive-phase- sequence output of a comparator IC2 is changed to a high level. The output of an operational amplifier IC4 is also changed and the base potential of a transistor Q1 is elevated and a normal light output waveform can be obtained. When the burst signal vanishes, the charge of the capacitor C1 is discharged and the terminal voltage is declined and the output of the comparator is changed to a low level. The output of the operational amplifier IC4 is also changed in the same way and the base potential of the transistor Q1 is declined and a light output can be sufficiently small.
