As a window frame renovation method, the old window frame is left in the building frame, the new window frame is fitted into the old window frame, and both window frames are attached, the so-called cover method, and the old window frame is pulled out from the building frame. There is a so-called pull-out method in which a new window frame is fitted into an existing window opening and then attached to the building frame. In the so-called pull-out method, the old window frame is pulled out compared to the cover method. Therefore, the window opening area can be made almost the same as the old window frame.

By the way, as a so-called pull-out method, for example, Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 57-9979 has been proposed.
In this conventional example, the existing window opening remains in the same shape, so it was very difficult to fit the new window frame into the window opening and fix it in place due to the limited work space.

In order to enlarge the work space, the shape of the new window frame had to be made smaller, which resulted in a narrowing of the window opening area and sometimes prevented the full advantage of the so-called pull-out method.

Furthermore, in order to improve the above points, the wall surrounding the existing window opening, including the old window frame, was cut to form a new window opening, and the new window was installed in the new window opening. For example, a method of fitting and fixing a frame is disclosed in Japanese Patent Application Laid-Open No. 1986-57.
This is proposed in Publication No. 54678.

Therefore, the present invention was devised in order to solve all the problems of the conventional example, and it is easy to fit a new window frame, and moreover, it is possible to easily fit the new window frame into the building frame. Therefore, in the present invention, the old window frame can be pulled out and removed without damaging the wall to which the old window frame is attached, and then the existing window frame can be installed easily and accurately. In the window opening, at least the wall on the indoor side periphery on the upper frame side is cut diagonally from the inner peripheral surface toward the outdoors to form a guide part for fitting the new window frame, and then the framed new window frame is cut. The new window frame is fitted into the window opening via the guide part, and then the outer peripheral side of the new window frame is connected to the building frame from the indoor side via the guide part to attach the new window frame to the building frame. Next, in this embodiment, a plurality of anchor metal fittings 17, to which mounting tongue pieces 15 are welded 16, are attached to the outer peripheral wall 14 of a new window frame 5 made of aluminum, hard resin, etc., which has been framed in a square shape in advance. The new window frame 5 is attached so as to be slidable in the longitudinal direction, and the new window frame 5 is inserted into the window opening 11 through the guide portion 12 as shown by arrow A in FIG.
Next, the mounting tongue 15 of the arcer hardware 17 and the anchor bolt 9 are connected from the indoor side C via the guide portion 12 by welding 19 of the connecting bar 18 to the outer peripheral side of the new window frame 5 and the building frame 7. In short, the new window frame 5 is connected to the building frame 7 in this embodiment, with the new window frame 5 being partially fitted into the mounting groove 8.
