Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain an interpolating signal adapted securely to image motion without using any memory dedicated to a motion detection signal by performing the subordinate sampling of the motion detection signal and eliminating the absence of motion information through the memory of a chromaticity signal proccessing system. CONSTITUTION:A subordinate sample circuit 125 generates a multiplexed auxiliary signal CM from a color signal Cx and the motion detection signal Mx by subordinate sampling. A motion detection signal processing circuit 111 separates a motion signal from the signal CM, interpolates its gaps because the signal is subordinately sampled, and compares it with the motion detection signal from a motion detecting circuit 108. Namely, the motion detection signal obtained from a current field and the motion detection signal obtained from the last filed are compared and the larger signal is selected and led out. Therefore, the final obtained motion detection signal contains securely on the motion information of a video signal which is one field before. Consequently, the absence of motion information is eliminated without using any temporary circuit.
