Abstract

PURPOSE:To reduce power required for collecting waste fibers and decrease spaces for installing apparatus, by switching the waste fiber-collecting process of each frame in turn from the No.1 frame to the No.n frame. CONSTITUTION:A suction duct 1 is disposed along the arranging direction of each frame A1-A10, connected with a suction generating apparatus 2 and provided with branching ducts 1a corresponding to respective frames. Each of the branching ducts 1a is provided with a damper whose top terminal is connected with a suction nozzle. The damper is controlled by opening or closing the damper in turn for each frame, and in this relation a blowing fan of each frame is controlled by starting or stopping the fan in turn.
