Abstract
PURPOSE:To stabilize a power supply voltage of a circuit system for always supplying a power source, and to prevent a malfunction by providing a switching means for discharging quickly a charge which has been charged to a bypass capacitor, when a power supply from a power source circuit is turned off. CONSTITUTION:When an operation of a circuit shown in the figure is ended and its operating state is shifted to a non-operating state, first of all, a control circuit CONT sets an output signal PON to an H level and stops an operation of a power source circuit PS. Thereafter, when an output signal DIS is set to an L level, transistors Q1, Q2 conduct and a charge which has been charged to a bypass use capacitor C is discharged quickly. As a result, an output VDD of the circuit PS becomes 0V quickly, therefore, since the time when a through- current flows to a circuit system BU becomes extremely short, a power supply voltage VBK does not drop and the system operates stably. Unless the switching means Q1, Q2 and R discharge quickly the charge of the capacitor C, the output VDD drops as shown with a broken line, therefore, the through-current flows for many hours, and as a result, the voltage VBK drops and a malfunction of the system BU is caused.
