Abstract
PURPOSE:To detect the malfunction of a driving circuit using a simple circuit by connecting a resistor to a control power source and one end of a diode to a power source for the driving circuit, and connecting the other end to a controller. CONSTITUTION:When an AC voltage is applied to a power source 4, a control power source 3 turns OFF a power source 2 for a driving circuit. The output power of the power source 3 is supplied through a controller 8, a resistor 6 and a diode 5 to a driving circuit 7. The circuit 7 feeds a signal to a driver 8 in this state to turn ON, OFF the driving circuit, thereby detecting whether a current actually flows or not from the voltage of a detecting point T. The controller 8 judges the presence or absence of a malfunction of the driving circuit 7 in response to the detection result, and in case of the malfunction, the power source 2 is held OFF through the power source 3 to generate an alarm by a sound or a light by a method, not shown, thereby notifying a monitoring operator, etc.
