Abstract

PURPOSE:To accurately and safety perform drilling, by providing a projection part having a circular cross-section to a leading end and forming a blade part only to the edge face of a blade body on the leading end side thereof and forming the side part of the blade body so as to reduce a diameter from the leading end of the blade body to the support shaft part thereof. CONSTITUTION:A projection part 4 has a function for guiding this drilling tool along the hole preliminarily drilled accurately by a drill and the diameter thereof may be almost the same as or slightly smaller than that of the hole accurately drilled by the drill. By forming a small diameter part 5 between the projection part 4 and a blade body 3, the blade part 6 provided to the edge face of a blade like member 2 on the leading end side thereof can be formed up the vicinity of the small diameter part 4 toward the inside in the radius direction so as to exceed the diameter of the projection part 4. The blade body 3 is equipped with a blade part 6 only at the edge face of the blade like member 2 on the leading end side thereof and no blade is formed at the side part 7 of the blade body 3, that is, on the peripheral surface of the blade like member. Said blade part 6 is inclined in the same direction with respect to the center axis of the drilling tool. The diameter of the blade body 3 is reduced from the leading end of the member 2 to the support shaft part thereof.
