Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain a sanitary article excellent in deodorizing effect, having cleanliness and imparting no feeling of physical disorder in use, by using an inorg. white powder, wherein the compositional mol. ratio of oxides is specific, and a powdery polymer absorbing body in a combined form. CONSTITUTION:As a deodorant, an inorg. white powder whose oxide compositional ratio is 5-60mol.% ZnO, 5-80mol.% SiO2 and 0-60mol.% Al2O3 is used. As a polymer absorbing body, a polymer or copolymer containing acrylic acid or methacrylic acid as fundamental constitution such as crosslinked sodium polyacrylate or polymethacrylate having water-insoluble and water- swellable properties is designated. The use ratio of the inorg. white powder and the powdery polymer absorbing body is generally set so that the inorg. white powder is within a range of 5-80pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. of the powdery polymer absorbing body. Further, the inorg. white power and the powdery polymer absorbing body can be supported at the arbitrary positions of a sanitary article.
