Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering in deodorizing capacity, by allowing a porous carrier to support a deodorizing component along with a compound having deliquescence or high hygroscopicity. CONSTITUTION:As a porous carrier A, a fibrous carrier, an inorg. carrier or a natural carrier can be designated. As a deodorizing component B, one separated from a plant of every kind by an extraction or other means is pref. used. As a compound C having deliquescence or high hygroscopicity, salts showing said property by the moisture in air are practical. The support amount of the deodorizing component B to the carrier A is 0.01-10wt.%, for example, in such a case that the dry distillation component of a camellia having high deodorizing effect is used. The supporting amount of the compound C having deliquescence or high hygroscopicity is selected within a range of 0.1-50wt.%.
