Abstract

PURPOSE: To smooth the steady sound of musical sound waveform data by working steady loop waveform data by cosine inverse square root addition and preparing and repeatedly outputting steady waveform data. CONSTITUTION: Musical sounds are stored in a 1st waveform memory 18 as waveform data. The transient waveform section and steady loop waveform section of the waveform data are instructed from a working instruction part 17 to a mixing part 16. The mixing part 16 executes cosine inverse square root addition for the rear part of a steady loop waveform and outputs the other part as it is to store the data in a 2nd waveform memory 12 through a transfer part 15. Information related to a storage area in the memory 12 is stored in a table memory 13. The memory 13 reads out a musical sound instructed by an input part 11 and outputs the read musical sound to a reading part 14. The musical sound instructed by the input part 11 is inputted to a clock generator 19 and a clock corresponding to the sound level is generated. The reading part 14 synchronizes the input from the memory 13 with the clock and outputs the musical sound waveform from a terminal as a smooth steady sound in each waveform data.
