Abstract
PURPOSE: To absorb a shock at the time of a collision by covering an elastic body fitted to a rigid plate with a synthetic resin sheet, fixing the rigid plate to the base section of a concrete wall or the like via the elastic body and small holes bored on the sheet, and screwing decorative nails having springs into the elastic body to conceal the small holes. CONSTITUTION: An elastic body 2 made of polyurethane foam having a cushioning property is fitted to a rigid plate 1 of plywood, the elastic body 2 is covered with a synthetic resin sheet 3 extended to the back side of the rigid plate 1, and the rigid plate 1 is fixed to the base section 4 of a concrete wall or the like via the elastic body 2 and small holes 5 bored on the sheet 3. When nuts 7 are fastened to anchor bolts 6 buried in the base section 4 from the small holes 5, the small holes 5 are closed by the expanding/shrinking property of the elastic body 2. Decorative nails 8 constituted of coil-like flexible springs 8A and decorative buttons 8B are screwed into the elastic body 2 from the sheet 3 to conceal the small holes 5. When a human body collides with the decorative button 8B side of this buffer structure, the elastic body 2 is shrunk, and the springs 8A are shrunk to absorb a shock.
