Abstract

PURPOSE:To make microanalysis of a biopolymer easy by producing acryl-base gel type anion exchange resin having 50-90% degree of cross-linking, 1-20mum particle diameter and 0.05-0.5meq/g exchange capacity. CONSTITUTION:Acryl-base gel type anion exchange resin is obtained by copolymerizing both a vinyl monomer having amino group and a cross-linking agent with an ordinary method or copolymerizing both the vinyl monomer having a functional group capable of introducing amino group and the cross- linking agent with the ordinary method and introducing amino group into the obtained copolymer. This resin has 50-90% degree of cross-linking, 1-20mum particle diameter and 0.05-0.5meq/g exchange capacity. This anion exchange resin is a carrier used for an ion exchange chromatography which reaches use for microanalysis of a biopolymer such as polynucleotide, polypeptide and protein.
