Abstract

PURPOSE:To automatically perform the examination of a blood type, antibody screening and an infectious disease, by successively feeding a plate for agglutination reaction and a plate for enzyme immunoreaction and selectively distributing a diluted sample from the well of a dilution plate. CONSTITUTION:A dilution plate 5 having a well receiving a sample is successively fed. Further, a plate 14 for agglutination reaction having a well provided with a bottom surface capable of forming a particle agglutination pattern and a plate 15 for enzyme immunoreaction having a well provided with a predetermined antigen or antibody as a solid phase are successively fed along an agglutination reaction line 16 and an enzyme immunoreaction line 17. The diluted sample received in the well of the dilution plate 5 is selectively distributed in the wells formed to the agglutination reaction plate 14 and the enzyme immunoreaction plate 15 and the judgement of a blood type due to the presence of agglutination or the examination of various infectious diseases due to a cross matching test and enzyme immunoreaction is simultaneously or selectively performed with respect to the distributed sample in the same apparatus.
