Abstract

PURPOSE:To rotate a spindle both in the regular and reverse directions and provide precision boring by mounting a tap on a drive shaft rotating in a single piece with the spindle with possibility of moving in the axial direction, moving in accordance with the pitch of thread provided at the tap in the axial direction through a guide, and sensing the amount of movement. CONSTITUTION:A driver 7 is mounted on a spindle 4 to rotate consolidated. A support 10 in installed on this driver 7 through a bearing 9 in such a way as not rotating, and a guide 19 is fitted at its inner surface 21.
