Abstract

PURPOSE: To automatically cut a lump of bean curd extracted from a form box into a desired size during its transfer toward packs and to align and easily pack cut pieces in the packs by providing a bean curd transfer mechanism having a bean curd moving plate for advancing the lump of bean curd along a bean curd channel through a cutting blade at the front end of a partition plate. CONSTITUTION: A lump of bean curd is located between a moving plate 52 retreated and set at the foremost end and a partition plate 12. The moving plate 52 is advanced to move the lump of bean curd toward the partition plate 12, and the lamp is cut into the size of a piece of beam curd by a bean curd cutting blade 18 at the front end of the partition plate 12. The moving plate 52 is further advanced to move cut pieces of beam curd along a channel 20. A cam follower 36 inserted into the cam groove 24 of a cam plate 22 is laterally widened as a moving frame 26 advances, and the moving plate 52 is advanced while being widened along the channel 20 via a sliding tube 40 after the movement of the cam follower 36. When the moving plate 52 reaches the rear end of the channel 20, the cut pieces of bean curd are put into packs 56 at the rear end of a transfer table 10 and are packed in sequence.
