Abstract

CONSTITUTION:The resin coating layer 6 dispersed with the conductive filler consisting of a material having <=100OMEGAcm specific volume resistivity is provided to the developer carrier 2 which constitutes a dry process developing device. The development of the electrostatic latent image on a photosensitive drum 1 is executed while the resin coating layer 6 of the developing roller 2 is held in contact with the drum. A rubber layer 5 is effective to maintain the good contact state of the drum 1 and the roller 2. The width of the fluctuation in the front layer resistance is thereby decreased and the copy having stable quality without having scumming is obtd. even in the environment of the varying temp. and humidity.
