Abstract

PURPOSE:To feed coating matter on the surface of a work at uniform thickness by providing a rotatable roller near a nozzle of the coating matter which is provided to the lower end of a dispenser capable of being rotated to the horizontal direction and being made freely movable up and down. CONSTITUTION:A nozzle 13 for feeding coating matter is provided to the lower end of a dispenser 10 which is made rotatable to the horizontal direction and made freely movable up and down. A rotatable roller 19 is provided near the nozzle 13 and the dispenser 10 is advanced while allowing the roller 19 to be rollingly brought into contact with the surface of a work 1 and coating matter is continuously fed on the surface of the work 1 through the nozzle 13. As a result, even when an unevenness exists on the surface of the work and deformation due to warpage and twist is generated, the clearance between the nozzle and the the surface of the work is held constant and the coating matter can be fed on the surface of the work at a uniform thickness.
