Abstract

PURPOSE:To continue to hold a flame by heating the periphery of the flame to a high temperature once the flame is formed by providing a heater in opposite to the vicinity of the downstream of a gas passing cylinder, heating the gas passing cylinder by a heater at the time of drying wastes, and igniting a decomposed gas by the heater at the time of decomposing the wastes. CONSTITUTION:A heater 13 heats a catalyst 17 which is in the downstream of the heater 18 together with the entire part of a secondary combustion chamber 12. Further, since a gas passing cylinder 14 is heated, moisture and smoke (decomposed gas) to not adhere thereto, and therefore no clogging occurs in the gas passing cylinder 14. The waste gradually increases the quantity of the decomposed gas generated by electric heat. During this time this gas is dense and is difficult to fire. However, since the gas contains water and smoke soots, a part of smoke soots adhere to the gas passing cylinder 14 and a porous member 15. When the quantity of soots adhering thereto increases, the smoke soots are re-decomposed at parts where the soots adhere by the heat of a heater 11. Therefore, since a dense gas primarily is generated, it can be quickly ignited. Once a flame is formed, the periphery of the flame is heated to a high temperature and the flame continues to be held excellently.
