CONSTITUTION:The furnace temperature is read out from a temperature detector 6 and is compared with a furnace temperature target value preset within a furnace arithmetic controller 5. In a case where the furnace temperature of the incinerator 1 is high beyond the allowable range when the furnace temperature is higher than the target temperature or conversely in a case where the former temperature is lower than the latter temperature, the distribution ratio of the quantity of sludge supplied to a sludge drier 3 by a sludge sorter 4 to the quantity of sludge directly charged into the incinerator 1 is regulated, and the quantity of correction is increased or decreased under consideration of the gradient of fluctuation of the furnace temperature with respect to the manipulated variable. Thereby, the temperature control rapidly approaching the furnace target temperature can be carried out.
