Abstract

PURPOSE:To select the gradient mode of diverse patterns by selecting liquid A, liquid B, or liquid M from a gradient tank according to the switching state of a changeover valve, and feeding it to a liquid chromatography processing system as an external system. CONSTITUTION:A liquid feed system 4 is so constituted that a liquid from an A liquid tank 1 or B liquid tank 2 is selected and supplied through one three-way valve type 1st changeover valve 5 where pipes 4a and 4b from the A liquid tank 1 and B liquid tank 2 constitute a 1st valve mechanism and then connected to the gradient tank 3 through a feed pump 6 in the middle. A 1st piping system 7 is extended from the bottom part of the gradient tank 3 and feeds an elute (M liquid) to the liquid chromatography processing system through a main pump 13. Then one of the A liquid, the B liquid, and the M liquid from the gradient tank 3 is selected according to the switching states of the 2nd and 3rd changeover valves 8 and 9 of a discharge liquid feed system 7 and fed to the liquid chromatography processing system as the external system.
