Abstract

PURPOSE:To achieve a higher accuracy with accurate reproduction of behavior of a construction with respect to earth quake, by a method wherein a response displacement obtained from an earthquake acceleration data is applied to a reference layer with a displacement control while other layers are subjected to a load control with a load as target value as obtained from a return force of the reference layer and an external force distribution of layers. CONSTITUTION:An earth quake acceleration data and an external distribution data are inputted into a computer 5 beforehand. The computer 5 performs an analysis of a proper value to determine an intrinsic cycle of an object 1 to be tested and an S-order deformation mode of each layer. Then, a stress displacement of a reference layer is determined by a specified computation to be given to a reference layer III through an actuator 9 of a displacement control system 2. Then, the stress displacement is detected with a load cell 12 of a return force detection system 3 to be inputted into the computer 5. Loads applied to other layers are calculated from the return force and an external force distribution to perform a load control of actuators 18, 21 and the like by a load, control system 4. Thus, a multilayer is controlled according to the external force distribution to reproduce behavior with respect to an earthquake, thereby achieving a higher accuracy.
