Abstract
PURPOSE:To facilitate the correction of a plate by forming a film for correction of black and white tones from a continuous tone negative film and forming a half tone positive film from the film for correction. CONSTITUTION:The continuous tone negative film is formed by photographing an original such as natural wood and the film for correction of the black and white tones is formed from the continuous tone negative film. The half tone positive film is formed from the film for correction. The film for correction of the black and white tone may be either positive or negative and is positive if a lithographic film is used. The film is negative if a duplicating film is used. the correction of the plate is executed at the time of the film for correction in this case. The correction is thus facilitated as the film for correction is of black and white tones and has no intermediate color parts.
