PURPOSE:To reduce adhesion of sludge to the inner face of a culture tank for Chlorella, algae, animal and vegetable planktons, by charging the culture tank with inorganic granules and/or granules of high polymer gel and equipping the culture tank with a stirring means. CONSTITUTION:Inorganic granules such as sand or active carbon and/or granules of high polymer gel are fed to the interior of a culture tank 1, which is equipped with a stirring means. For example, a means wherein an air piping 3 is laid at the bottom of the tank, air is introduced from the piping to the tank and the tank is agitated by rising of bubbles is preferable as the stirring means. The volume of the granules fed to the tank is preferably 5-30% based on the volume of the tank. The granules of the high polymer gel preferably has 0.5-10mm particle diameter and 0.9-1.2 specific gravity.
