Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a rubber component having improved adhesiveness, by blending a rubber composition containing hexamethoxymethylmelamine with a specific amount of a specific reaction product. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pt.wt. rubber composition containing hexamethoxymethyl melamine is blended with (B) 0.5-6pts.wt. reaction product obtained by reacting (i) a precondensate of resorcin or resorcin and formalin with (ii) a thiazole type vulcanization accelerator (e.g. mercaptobenzothiazole) and/or a sulfenamide type vulcanization accelerator [e.g. N-oxydiethylene-2-benzothiadisulfenamide (NDBS)] to give the aimed composition.
