Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a thermoplastic elastomeric composition having excellent balance of oil resistance and fluorine type organic compound gas transmission resistance, comprising a polyamide polymer and two kinds of rubber wherein the two kinds of the rubber are dispersed as crosslinked rubber particles in the polymer. CONSTITUTION:A thermoplastic elastomeric composition which comprises (A) 30-65wt.%, preferably 45-55wt.% polyamide, preferably crystalline polyamide polymer having 150-210 deg.C melting point or softening point and (B) 70-35wt.%, preferably 55-45wt.% two kinds of rubber selected from butyl rubber (e.g. isobutylene-isobutylene copolymer rubber having 0.5-2.5mol.% unsaturation degree), halogenated butyl rubber, chlorinated polyethylene rubber, chlorosulfonated polyethylene rubber and epichlorohydrin rubber, is preferably obtained by dynamically vulcanizing the component B in the presence of the component A and has crosslinked rubber particles of the component B dispersed in the component A.
