Abstract

PURPOSE:To keep a safe stopping state of a vehicle on a slope by generating an alarm signal when the braking force holding time becomes more than a preset value while the braking force is held, in which a solenoid check valve for holding the braking force is energized. CONSTITUTION:A solenoid check valve 15 for braking is interposed in an oil pressure route 16b for feeding braking oil to a wheel brake 17 at the time of braking, and when designated braking force holding conditions are satisfied in a control unit 14, the solenoid check valve 15 is energized to hold the braking force. The judgement on whether the braking force holding conditions are satisfied or not is conducted according to output signals of an accel switch 2, a clutch sensor 3, a foot brake switch 7, a neutral switch 9 and a car velocity sensor 11. In this case, in the control unit 14, when the braking force holding time counted by a timer counter TC becomes more than a preset value during holding the braking force, an indicator is energized to give a warning.
