Abstract
PURPOSE:To voluntarily change the direction of a vehicle main body by controlling rear wheel steering means including an actuator for changing the steering of rear wheels according to output of an attitude command device for commanding the direction of the vehicle main body by a rear wheel steering control device in a civil vehicle. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle has front wheels 1 and rear wheels 2, which can be steered independently, in which the front wheels 1 can be steered by the first steering means 3, and the rear wheels 2 can be steered by the second steering means 4. The first steering means 3 is constructed similarly to the conventional steering means so that the steering angles theta1 of the front wheels 1 can be changed according to the turning operation amount input to a handle A. The second steering means 4 comprises an actuator 41 for variably controlling the steering angles theta2 of the rear wheels 2 and an attitude command device 43 for commanding the direction theta to be taken by the vehicle main body. The attitude command device 43 comprises a potentiometer 44 for converting the turning operation amount of a handle B to a directional signal Salpha.
