Abstract
PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition suitable for sealing passing through parts of electric wire or cable floor, expanding and solidifying in fire to show excellent fire-resistant performance, having excellent casting workability, by blending a polyol component and a polyisocyanate component with a specific amount of a plasticizer and borax. CONSTITUTION:(A) 100pts.wt. mixture obtained by mixing A1: a polyol component (e.g. polyether diol having >=700mol.wt.) having <=200mg KOH/g hydroxyl number with A2: a polyisocyanate component (e.g. liquid MDI) in the ratio of hydroxyl group and isocyanate group of 0.7-1.4 is blended with (B) 20-150 pts.wt, plasticizer (e.g. diethylhexyl phthalate) and (C) 20-600pts.wt. borax.
