Abstract

NEW MATERIAL:A compound shown by formula I (Ar is group shown by formula II or formula III; R1 is methyl, methoxy or Cl; R2 is H or F).
EXAMPLE: N-2,6-Difluorobenzoyl-N'-3-methyl-4-(2-chloro-5-trifluoromethylphenyl) phenylurea.
USE: An insecticide and acaricide having high imaginal growth inhibitory activity against imagoes of especially Tetranychidae.
PREPARATION: For example, a benzoyl isocyanate compound shown by formula IV is reacted with a substituted biphenylamine compound shown by formula V to give a compound shown by formula I.
