Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain the titled composition, containing a specific ampholytic surfactant and tertiary amidoamine and having excellent hair conditioning effects (flexibility, moist feeling, smoothness and combing property). CONSTITUTION:A hair rinse composition containing (A) a bis(2-alkyl-N- hydroxyethylimidazoline)chloroacetic acid complex type ampholytic surfactant expressed by formula I (R is 11-21C long-chain alkyl), e.g. bis(stearyl-N- hydroxyethylimidazoline)chloroacetic acid complex and (B) a compound expressed by formula II (R1 is 11-17C long-chain alkyl; R2 and R3 are 1-3C alkyl), e.g. stearic acid diethylaminoethylamide. The amounts of the ingredients based on the total weight of the composition are 0.5-6wt.%, preferably 1.0-4wt.% ingredient (A) and 0.1-2wt.%, preferably 0.3-1wt.% ingredient (B).
