Abstract
PURPOSE:To improve sieve efficiency and to reduce damage of the sieve by making difference of mesh sizes between the center part and both end parts in the sieve for classification of sintered ore for blast furnace in the width direction and dropping non-treated sintering ore on both side arts by two-way chutes. CONSTITUTION:In the sieve device for classifying the sintered ore as the raw material for blast furnace into the suitable size suiting for blast furnace operation, the sintered ore 4 conveyed by the belt conveyor 1 is dropped on the sieve 5 from a head pulley 2 through the chute 3. In this case, the sieve 5 is divided into the center part W0 and both side parts W1, W2 and the mesh sizes are made to the ordinary mesh size at the center part W0 and larger mesh size at both side parts W1, W2. By dropping a part of the sintered ore to both parts W1, W2 in the sieve 5 by using the two-way chutes 8, the sintered ore, which is easily concentrated into the center part of the sieve 5, is uniformly supplied on the whole surface of the sieve 5, to improve the sieve efficiency, and the damage of the sieve 5 is reduced, to extend the service life. Further, by changing the mesh size of both side parts W1, W2, mixing ratio of powdery ore is freely adjusted so as to match to the blast furnace condition.
