Abstract

PURPOSE:To manufacture a molded item with neither sinking nor warping by a method wherein dwelling process is carried out by applying back pressure with pressurized gas fluid as medium after molten resin is poured in a mold cavity by injection. CONSTITUTION:Resin, which is melted and plasticized in an injection cylinder 2, is poured through a nozzle 5 in a mold cavity 10 by injection. After that, pressurized gas is poured through a nozzle 6 in the mold cavity. Forced pressurized gas fluid flows in the interior of the molten resin in the mold cavity so as to press the resin against the surface of the mold. After the resin in the mold cavity is fully cooled down, a molded item is taken out of the mold. Thus, an injection-molded item can be obtained, which has neither sinking at unevenly thick part due to volumetric shrinkage nor warpage due to molding strain, and has high molding accuracy.
