図はその平面図、第３図および第４図はその作用
を示した縦断面図、第５図は従来の直噴式デイー
ゼルエンジンの燃焼室を示した縦断面図、第６図
は従来の予燃焼室式デイーゼルエンジンの燃焼室
を示した縦断面図である。 図中、２はピストン頂部、３は主燃焼室、４は
突起部、５は予燃焼室、６は連絡孔、９は燃料噴
射ノズルである。

- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) ピストン頂部を窪ませて形成した主燃焼室
の略中央に突起部を設け、該突起部に燃料噴射ノ
ズルに臨む予燃焼室を形成し、該燃焼室と上記主
燃焼室との間に、高速運転時の上記燃料噴射ノズ
ルの噴射方向に一致させて、連絡孔を設けたこと
を特徴とする直噴式デイーゼルエンジンの燃焼室
。 (2) 上記予燃焼室が、略球形に成形された上記
実用新案登録請求の範囲第１項に記載の直噴式デ
イーゼルエンジンの燃焼室。 (3) 上記連絡孔が、上記予燃焼室から径方向外
方の主燃焼室に臨んで放射状に形成された上記実
用新案登録請求の範囲第１項または第２項に記載
の直噴式デイーゼルエンジンの燃焼室。
