Abstract
PURPOSE: To reduce the pull-down time by setting an adequate air flow rate corresponding to one of divisions of the temp. range divided along the temp. gradient when the pull down from air ordinary temp. to the refrigeration level. CONSTITUTION: For the pull down of the container temp. from an ordinary temp. to a set temp. in the refrigeration range, two switching temp. points are set along its temp. gradient to divide into a high, medium and low temp. divisions. In the high temp. division from the ordinary temp. to the first temp. point, evaporator fans F1-1, F1-2 operate at a low speed to provide a low air flow rate of the interior circulating air passing through an evaporator 5. In the medium temp. division, the fans operate at a high speed to provide a high air flow rate, and in the low temp. division the fans operate at a low speed to provide a low air flow rate, thereby well displaying a high cooling power suited to the original refrigerating operation and hence reducing the pull down time.
