Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain an inclined magnetic field always having a definite rising/falling time and flatness, by preliminarily storing the optimum current waveform at each intensity of an inclined magnetic field in a memory element and using the corresponding data on the memory element at the time of imaging. CONSTITUTION:A memory element 26 for storing a current waveform is arranged to the pre-stage of a DAC (D/A converter) 21 and the optimum current waveform corresponding to the intensity of each inclined magnetic field is preliminarily stored in said memory element. When a current is allowed to flow to an inclined magnetic field coil, the data of the current waveform corresponding to a necessary inclined magnetic field is drawn out by the order from a sequencer. The data of the memory element is converted to an analogue signal by the DAC while said analogue signal is sent to an amplifier as it is to be applied to the inclined magnetic field coil of load. By this circuit constitution, the optimum current waveform is already obtained in the stage of the memory element and, therefore, it is unnecessary to shape a signal waveform after the DAC. When all of the current waveforms corresponding to the intensity of the inclined magnetic fields necessary for actual measurement are stored in the memory element, an inclined magnetic field having a definite rising/falling time and flatness is obtained without relying on intensity.
