Abstract

PURPOSE:To carry large sheets smoothly and sort easily by supporting both sides and the underside of a large paper sheet on belts and carrying the paper sheet together with the belts. CONSTITUTION:A roller 6 is rotatable in direction B around a fulcrum 8 of a supporting lever. Rotation of the roller 6 causes rotation of a roller 5 in same direction around a fulcrum 9 of supporting lever. Carrying direction of a large paper sheet 11 held between side face belts 2, 3 is changed to direction C through rotation of the rollers 5, 6, and the sheets 11 are stacked at a corresponding point while being sorted. A spring 7 provides force for resetting the rollers 5, 6 to original position.
