Abstract

PURPOSE:To make it possible to improve the heat stability, antistatic property, colorlessness and transparency, by mixing a chlorinated resin with a specified ammonium salt, a perchlorate and tri-2-ethylhexyl trimellitate. CONSTITUTION:A resin composition comprises an ammonium salt of (a) of the formula, a perchlorate (b) of formula II, tri-2-ethylhexyl trimellitate (c) and a chlorinated resin (d). In the formulas, one of R1, R2 and R3 is a 5-24C alkyl, and the others are each 1-5C alkyl, R4 is a 2-4C alkylene, n is 1-15, X is an anion of hydrochloric, chloric or perchloric acid, M is an ion of a Group 1A or 2A metal of the periodic table, or an ammonium ion, and m is 1 or 2. Because this resin composition contains component (c) as a plasticizer, it can keep the antistatic property for a long time. The compound of formula I is used in an amount of 0.5-5pts.wt. per 100pts.wt. resin. The compound of formula II is used in an amount of 0.02-0.5pt.wt. per pt.wt. compound I.
