Abstract
PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a device and to improve heat dissipating ability, by a method wherein a pulley and a cover are used as a part of an oil chamber housing, and an oil chamber is rotated together with the pulley. CONSTITUTION:A driven shaft 12 connected to a compressor is freely rotatably supported on a housing 11. A hub 13 is coupled to the end part of the driven shaft 12. A pulley 15 is rotatably supported on the housing 11 through a bearing 14. A cover 20 is secured to the pulley 15, and an oil chamber 21 is formed by the cover 20, the pulley 15, and the hub 13. A clutch disc 23 on the drive side is axially movably supported by the pulley 15, and a clutch disc 25 on the driven side by the hub 13. An annular groove 28 is formed in them pulley 15, and a coil 30 is positioned in the annular groove 28. Further, an armature 26 is positioned at the outer end parts of the clutch discs 23 and 25.
