Abstract
PURPOSE:To eliminate the need to increase the size of a weight body and to enable increase of a cam surface angle to some extent, by providing a moving member which is moved through the action of a cam means being operative during relative rotation exceeding specified angular acceleration between two rotary bodies. CONSTITUTION:A closed actuating chamber 4 is formed by a viscous housing 3 between a first rotary body 1 on the rotation force input side and a second rotary body 2 on the rotation force output side. The actuating chamber 4 is sealed with viscous fluid, and a plurality of resistance discs 5 and 6, alternately engaged with the first and second rotary bodies 1 and 2 in a direction extending around an axis, are contained in the actuating chamber. A press plate 9, contained in the actuating chamber 4 and serving as a moving member, is integrally coupled with the first rotary body 1. A cam means 10 and a weight body 14 are situated on the same axis between the first and second rotary bodies 1 and 2, and an accelerating mechanism 15 to accelerate relative rotation between the two rotary bodies 1 and 2 and transmit it to the weight body 14 is provided.
