Abstract
PURPOSE:To simplify a brake mechanism, by a method wherein, through control of the brake mechanism, a clutch is released from engagement, a swash plate is brought into an inclined state, an amount of working oil fed and discharged to and from a motor cylinder or a pump cylinder is limited, and control of braking is performed. CONSTITUTION:When a brake mechanism is controlled, by means of a signal from a brake sensor S4, an inclination angle control mechanism 80 is driven, and the swash plate of a motor M is held in an inclined state. A power transmission route running from an engine E to drive wheels W is brought into an opening or a closed state by a clutch mechanism C by means of a distribution valve 45. Further, an amount of working oil flowing in and out from a swash plate type hydraulic pump P and a hydraulic motor M is limited by a flow rate regulating mechanism Q by means of a distribution valve 46, and a resistance force against the change in volume of a cylinder hole is increased and braking is effected. The power transmission route is shut off by means of the clutch mechanism C, a flow is stopped by means of the flow rate regulating mechanism Q, rotation of the drive wheels W is stopped in a state to hold rotation of the engine E, and the wheel is held in a parking state. This constitution enables simplification of the brake mechanism.
