Abstract

PURPOSE:To prevent seizure of a bearing by driving a pump by means of the operation of a clutch mechanism and supplying a bearing oil to each bearing in the case of electric power failure. CONSTITUTION:An oil pump 21 is connected to an oil tank 11 for storing the bearing oil through a suction pipe 20 and a turbine shaft 7 is connected to the oil pump 21 through a clutch mechanism 22 and the discharge side of the oil pump 21 is connected to the bearings 2, 3, 5, 6 through an oil supply pipe 23. Thus, when any abnormal status like electric power failure or the like is generated in the running of a turbine 1, the clutch mechanism 22 is operated so as to transmit the drive power of the turbine 1 to the oil pump 21 and supply the bearing oil to each bearing 2, 3, 5, 6. Therefore, seizure of the bearings 2, 3, 5, 6 can be prevented.
