Abstract
PURPOSE:To maintain high measurement accuracy and to measure the deterioration of a sample with age over a long period of time by providing a pressurizing plate, front leveler and load cell, etc. CONSTITUTION:The front face of the sample is flattened by the front leveler 10 when a sample vessel is rotated toward an arrow 9. The surface of the pressurizing plate 5 is, thereupon, covered by the sample of the specified depth which is flattened at all times. Combined force acts on the load cell 7 via a supporting rod 6 when the resistance force by the movement of the sample acts on the pressurizing plate 5 and, therefore this force s measured as compressive flow resistance, viscous flow resistance and rotating flow resistance. The sample on the bottom wall side of the sample vessel is then lifted upward by a knife rod and the sample on the inside wall side is guided by guide plates 12b and 12C toward the central shaft side. The sample pressed by the pressurizing plate 5 to the bottom of the sample vessel and the sample pressed by centrifugal force to the vessel wall side are, therefore, both loosened and are returned to the state at the time of charging. The sample is thus maintained under the specified conditions during the measurement.
